Project Title: Climate

Introduction & Background:

Climate is the average weather in a place over many years. While the weather can change in just a few hours, climate
takes hundreds, thousands, even millions of years to change. Climate is the statistics of weather over long periods of
time. It is measured by assessing the patterns of variation in temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind,
precipitation, atmospheric particle count and other meteorological variables in a given region over long periods of
time. Climate differs from weather, in that weather only describes the short-term conditions of these variables in a
given region. Climate change is the greatest environmental threat humanity has ever faced and the biggest challenge.
It is caused by the buildup of greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels and the destruction of areas that store
massive amounts of carbon like the world’s rainforests. No one knows how much warming is “safe” but we know that
climate change is already harming people and ecosystems around the globe.

The changing climate impacts society and ecosystems in a broad variety of ways. For example, climate change can
alter rainfall, influence crop yields, affect human health, cause changes to forests and other ecosystems, and even
impact our energy supply. Climate-related impacts are occurring across the country and over many sectors of our
economy.

We’re campaigning for climate solutions that still allow people to prosper without damaging the planet including
increasing energy efficiency, clean energy and protecting the world’s rainforests.

Project Objectives:

The objectives of this distance learning program are to:

1. Educate people about climate change.

2. Share information about the effects of the climate change.

3. Minimize the impacts of material consumption and waste.

4. Conduct plantation drive for the betterment of environment.

5. Advance the global knowledge base on climate change solutions.

6. Clean the environment.

Project Description:
● THE GOAL OF THIS PROJECT IS TO EDUCATE CITIZENS ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE.

1. We will start a social media campaign to raise awareness towards climate changes.

● THE GOAL OF THIS PROJECT IS TO MINIMIZE THE IMPACTS OF MATERIAL CONSUMPTION AND WASTE.

1. We will tell people to stop wasting goods.

2. We will take the empty bottles and refill them with water and will distribute them among traffic
police, beginners and to the people.

3. The importance of this project is to stop people to throw empty bottles on the road or anywhere.

4. People will start saving empty bottles; they will take care of people around them.

● THE GOAL OF THIS PROJECT IS TO CLEAN THE ENVIRONMENT.

1. We all group members will go to the parks and beaches to clean the garbage from there.

2. We will do that so that people will learn the responsibility to clean our society.

3. The importance of this project is to make the environment neat and clean so that it doesn’t effect
on the climate.

4. People will start throwing wrappers, garbage in the dustbin most probably.

● THE GOAL OF THIS PROJECT IS TO ADVANCE THE GLOBAL KNOWLEDGE BASE ON CLIMATE CHANGE SOLUTIONS

1. We will tell people about the solutions of climate changes by telling them not to use transport every
time, turn off the lights when you’re not in the room and so on.

2. People will get benefit by adopting these instructions.

3. People will get informed about the global warming and its effects on the climate change.

4. Society will take part in making the solutions for climate changes.

Project Deliverables:

● We will be visiting any one park, cleaning it and providing information to the children present there
about climate.

● We will also initiate the plantation drive.
