This catalogue describes the common services scope delivered by XYZ and its Preferred

Partners. It describes the extent of the service that will be delivered, the underlying
assumptions, the responsibilities of all parties, and information on the deliverables.

Client may order single or multiple service items in this catalogue pertaining to relevance
technology. Please refer to Scope of Work (Section 1) for inclusion of services in this
proposal.

This service provides off-site “Burn-In Test” of equipment to ensure it is ready for on-site
installation. This service is performed at XYZ premise or Preferred Partner staging location,
such as a staging lab or warehouse facility.

Service Detail
1. Burn-In test to be performed at XYZ premise
1. Power-On Self-Test (POST)
2. Report DoA and schedule replacement.
3. Load client nominated version (if not applicable XYZ will recommend)
4. Burn-In Test for 48 hours
5. Email Burn-In Test Report

Exclusions
1. Configuration and physical installation
2. Consulting, Design, Staging, Testing and Troubleshooting
6. Site survey service to determine equipment mounting location
7. Development of configuration template
8. Adding feature(s) and/or completing configuration changes not defined in supplied
configuration

This service provides on-site “Burn-In Test” of equipment to ensure it is ready for installation.
This service is performed at the client premise.

37. Connect the supplied cable uplink and check the link status

Service Detail
1. This service includes one resource to standby on-site during business hour
45. Number of standby days as specified in Scope of Work section
46. Work with client technical team to resolve issue(s) related to service previously
performed by XYZ
Exclusions
1. On-site site survey and reporting
2. Design and development of configuration template
3. Physical installation, staging and burn-in test
4. Adding features or completing configuration changes not defined in supplied configuration
5. Extensive troubleshooting will be charged at a T&M rate (not applicable for greenfield)
6. Endpoint (PC, laptop, mobile devices, etc.) configuration and deployment

Service Detail
1. On-site knowledge transfer will consist of a (maximum) 4-hours session
2. Basic usage and navigation training will familiarise the client with the device to the point
that they can operate it comfortably

Exclusions
1. Training related to non-standard device configuration or functions such as custom
applications or APIs
3. Device or endpoint installation, programming, detailed configuration or
testing/troubleshooting.
4. Provide location for training
5. Selecting and inviting candidate(s) to attend the training

Service Detail
1. Ensure that the client has properly power down the device
6. Unplug connected cable(s)
7. Unmount device from the rack
8. Remove device related accessories from the rack (such as rails, brackets and tray)

Exclusions
1. On-site site survey and reporting
9. Modification of a rack
10. Any sort of cabling related job (Install/Remove/Route/Lay/Tidy/Patch any new or existing
cable(s))
11. Labelling of any cable(s)
12. Re-positioning other device or component(s)
13. Downtime or service window request to client’s management

Pre-Deployment Stage
1. Develop Implementation Procedure and User Acceptance Test Plan

Deployment Stage

(i) Wired
1. Equipment delivered to client’s site
2. The scope of this service pertains to mounting of the associated equipment using
mounting kit being procured
3. Mounting of equipment into client nominated rack
4. Power-On Self-Test (POST)
5. Label the purchased equipment(s)
6. Connect the supplied cables and check link status
7. Add purchase license to equipment
8. Load client nominated version firmware (if not available, manufacturer shipped
version will maintained)
9. Load client provided configuration template(s) into purchased equipment(s).
10. Create device configuration using client supplied design documentation.
11. In-service validation
a. Device management IP Ping, Gateway IP Ping, Routing Status (if applicable)
and remote admin accessibility test
12. User Acceptance Test (UAT) sign-off

(ii) Wireless
1. Equipment delivered to client’s site
2. The scope of this service pertains to mounting of the associated equipment using
mounting kit being procured
3. Mounting of equipment into client nominated rack
4. Power-On Self-Test (POST)
5. Label the purchased equipment(s)
6. Connect the supplied cables and check link status
7. Load client nominated version firmware (if not available, manufacturer shipped
version will maintained)
8. Load client provided configuration template(s) into purchased equipment(s).
9. Initial configuration of Wireless LAN Controller to register AP and assign to default
mobility group
10. Applicable to WLC only:
a. Configure new or existing switch (Cisco switch only) on switchport connectivity
b. Create mobility groups and SSIDs according to design
c. Integration of Radius/LDAP Server
11. Applicable to Wireless AP only:
a. Configure new or existing switch (Cisco switch only) on switchport connectivity
b. Assign access points to mobility group
c. Activate the Access Point license into the Wireless LAN Controller
12. In-service validation
a. Device management IP Ping, Gateway IP Ping and accessibility test
b. Validate that AP(s) are associated with Wireless LAN Controller
c. Validate user(s) and/or endpoint(s) can associate with the wireless network
successfully
d. Conduct redundancy test (applicable if dual HA controllers are purchased)
13. User Acceptance Test (UAT) sign-off

Post Deployment Stage


1. Produce As-Built document

7. Extensive troubleshooting will be charged at a T&M rate (not applicable for greenfield)
8. Endpoint (PC, laptop, mobile devices) configuration and deployment
9. Staging, Burn-in test and Next Business Day (NBD) standby

Client Responsibilities
1. Client to provide design document(s)
2. Client to provide site(s) and device(s) access
3. Client to provide physical server(s) and/or Virtual Machine(s) (VM) for any NFV
deployment
4. Documentation and information provided to XYZ by Client must be accurate, complete
and up to date
Service Detail
1. Site and system readiness
a. Identify the available space or slot
b. (For line card only) Check the targeted device health status
c. Compatibility check
d. Verify the readiness of cabling and/or wiring to accommodate installation
e. Verify there is enough clearance for installation
2. Provide site readiness report and action plan

Exclusions
1. Consultation and/or design services of network infrastructure
2. Site remediation activities
3. Confirming the availability of enough power or cooling within the client’s facility
4. Obstacle clearance for hardware installation
5. Site recommendations by XYZ or Preferred Provider employee(s)

Client Responsibilities
2. Client provides the name and contact details of a suitable representative capable of
answering all site survey questions
3. Client representative to provide accurate answers to all questions
4. Client will review and provide feedback that will allow XYZ to correct any errors in the site
survey evaluation report prior to Client signing off on the site survey report

This apply to uplink/downlink module/card and stack module/cable

Service Detail
5. Check targeted hardware components health status and backup running configuration
6. Install the Module/Card into the Chassis
a. Connect any necessary network interface cables to the newly installed Module/Card.
7. Connect stack cable(s) to the Chassis (For built-in stack module switches)
8. Load client provided configuration template(s) into purchased equipment(s)
9. Create device configuration using client supplied design documentation
10. Check the status of the newly installed module and interface
a. Ensure that the LED labelled STATUS is green (module operational)
b. Verify that the system detects the new module and the module status is “UP” and
running
c. Check port status, device management IP Ping, Gateway IP Ping, and Routing
Status (if applicable)
d. Verify the stack status and speed
e. Ensure no firmware mismatch on all stacked switch
11. Verify post-installation health status on targeted hardware components
Exclusions
1. Onsite site survey and reporting
2. Consultation and/or design services of network infrastructure
3. Development of configuration template
4. Any sort of device(s) migration
5. Adding feature(s) and/or completing configuration changes on existing network
infrastructure

Service Detail
1. Check targeted device health status and backup running configuration
2. Install the part
a. Check the status of the part
b. Verify the system detect the part and the part status is UP and running
3. Verify post-installation health status on targeted device

Exclusions
1. Onsite site survey and reporting
2. Configuration changes
3. Software upgrade
4. Obstacle clearance for hardware installation
5. Tidy up the existing cable

Client Responsibilities
1. Obstacle clearance for the hardware installation
2. Downtime window and/or request arrangement

This service provides a license only activation on client existing device(s)

Service Detail
1. Check targeted device health status and backup running configuration
2. Add purchase license to equipment
3. Verify post-activation license status on targeted device

Exclusions
1. Onsite site survey and reporting
2. Configuration changes
3. Software upgrade
4. Adding feature(s) or completing configuration changes on existing network infrastructure
5. Extensive troubleshooting will be charged at a T&M rate (not applicable for greenfield)
Service Detail
1. Equipment delivered to client’s site
2. The scope of this service pertains to mounting of the associated equipment using
mounting kit being procured
3. Mounting of equipment into client nominated rack
4. Power-On Self-Test (POST)
5. Label the purchased equipment(s)
6. Run Initial configuration of appliance
a. Install a license
b. Configure management interface, in-path interface and hostname
c. Configure administrative access using Riverbed appliance management console
d. Integrate built-in management capabilities, which include SNMP, Syslog, and email
notifications
e. Configuration of user authentication methods - RADIUS or TACACS+ (if needed and
up to 10 user accounts)
7. Configure and register the appliance able to communicate with the SteelCentral
Controller (if applicable)
8. Load configuration into purchased equipment(s)
9. RiOS version upgrade to current release and patching
10. Connect the supplied cable uplink and check the link status
11. In-service validation
a. Device management IP Ping, Gateway IP Ping, Routing Status (if applicable) and
remote admin accessibility test
