Recognizing of Text and Product Label From Hand Held Entity Intended For Visionless Persons

This document presents a system to help blind people read text and identify objects using a handheld device. The system uses a Raspberry Pi 3 controller with a camera, GPS, ultrasonic sensor and RFID tags. The camera identifies text and objects, converts it to speech using OCR and TTS to output to the user. The ultrasonic sensor and RFID tags help locate a stick to assist navigation.
