BeIoT School Program 2020

This document outlines the schedule and program overview for the International School on IoT taking place from September 28th to October 3rd, 2020. The school aims to boost education on IoT for modernization and employability. Over the 6 day program, lectures will be given by international speakers on topics such as smart sensors, IoT applications, industry 4.0, and more. A digital IoT hackathon and pitch competition for students is also scheduled, with prizes awarded to the best ideas and presentations. Participation certificates will be provided upon completion of the program.

The International School on the Internet of Things takes place within the DAAD project “Boosting
Education of IoT for Modernization and Employability” (BeIoT) between the Private International
Polytechnic School of Sfax (ESPIN), Chemnitz University of Technology (TUC) and the Jordan University
of Science and Technology (JUST). Partners of the event are the Technopole of Sfax and the Sfax Digital
Research Center.
 The BeIoT international school is open for students from all universities and is free of charge.
 Speakers from all over the world are providing lectures on technological and sector knowledge.
 A digital IoT Hackathon for innovative ideas will take place and best ideas will be awarded.
 A pitch perfect competition takes place and best presentation will be awarded.
 Participation certificates are delivered on demand.
