program)

Emphasise the number of years gainfully employed, all positions held and highlight the achievements

Currently unemployed – discuss previous work experience, explain the current activities and the reason
why unemployed in a separate section

Explain current skills are not enough to achieve career goals and this is the reason why decided to
pursue further studies and upgrade my career

Tips

Make sure to emphasise the relevance / relationship of the intended program of study with the current
or previous employments
