With due respect I beg to state the following facts for favour of your kind and sympathetic
consideration that I am a student of class X in your school. My father is a government
employee. He has recently received an order of posting to Dhaka from Barisal. He has
already joined there. Our family will shift there by the first week of the next month. I have no
near relatives here with whom I can stay and continue my studies. Moreover, my father is
not able enough to accommodate me elsewhere in the city. So, I regret to say that I will
have to leave this place with my parents. Now I am in need of a transfer certificate sothat I
can get myself admitted into a school in Dhaka. In this connection I may add that I have
cleared off all my dues up to the current month and returned the books of the school library.
Under these circumstances, I request you to issue me a transfer certificate so that I may
get myself admitted into a new school in Dhaka. I shall remain ever grateful to you for
this act of kindness.

having a computer club in our school. Our students are also keenly interested in learning
computer. But our school has not yet taken any step for setting up a computer club. A
computer club is a must now to develop academic performances of our school. It will also
equip us with the latest knowledge of computer. Bangladesh has entered into the computer
era and our vision is to make digital Bangladesh. But our students are lagging behind as they

appeal.
Ours is the best educational institution in Barisal division. But it is a matter of great regret
that we don’t have any common room in our school. We keenly feel the necessity of opening
a common room where we can have news papers, magazines periodicals and arrangement of
indoor games. We have to take refreshment outside the school compound which is indecent
and against the school discipline. Moreover we face difficulty to wash our hands, face and
refresh ourselves. A common room in this regard can solve these problems to a great extent.
If a common is set up, students who wander about aimlessly will find a place to take rest
during leisure and do something creative.
Under the circumstances, we pray and hope that your honour would be sympathetic enough
to take necessary steps to set up a common room urgently and remove our problem.

With due respect we, the students of your school, would like to draw your kind and
sympathetic attention to the following fact that we are facing a lot of problems for want of a
canteen in the school campus. We are to stay at school for a long time everyday. After four
periods, all the students become hungry and tired. Without having any light food, it becomes
almost impossible for us to continue the rest periods. So we need tiffin. But it is a matter of
great sorrow that there is no canteen in our school campus. For want of a canteen in the
school campus, we can not have any refreshment. It needs a long time to go to some good
confectioneries far away from the school and come back. As a result we are bound to take
unhygienic food from the nearby road-side hotels which causes much harm to our health.
In the circumstances stated above, we pray and hope that your honour would be sympathetic
enough to take necessary steps to set up a canteen urgently and remove our problems.

Gambuj Mosque in Bagerhat. It is a great historical place. This visit will help us in getting a
chance to learn about our rich historical background and cultural heritage. Moreover we want
to get relief from the monotonous classes that have made our life dull and boring. Two of our
honourable teachers have agreed to guide us. Our estimate shows that we will need Tk.
1000/- each. We like to contribute Tk. 750/- each and we will need Tk. 20000/- in addition to

Recently a devastating flood has furiously enlarged its paw in our village and left a trail of
death and destruction. Thousands of people have become homeless. They are now living
under the open sky. All the crops of the fields have been destroyed. The people of the area
are just starving. Famine and epidemic have already broken out in our village. A tremendous
scarcity of drinking water, medicine, clothes etc. has made our lives miserable. So immediate
help and relief goods are badly needed to keep the distressed alive.

sympathetic attention to the fact that we can not enjoy the benefits of the school library for
the lack of some facilities. The number of students has increased rapidly in our school but the
number of books has remained almost the same. On the other hand, the library can hardly
accommodate at best thirty students at a time. This is really very inadequate for us. Moreover
the library lacks adequate ventilation and light. We need recently published reference books,
magazines and journals to prepare good notes on different subjects but they are not available
here. In fact, the expansion of library facilities will meet the demand of the students in our
school and help them be equipped with the modern education.

I, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take effective steps for
increasing the facilities of our school library for the betterment of our education.

different schools and colleges. Moreover the prices of daily commodities have risen very
high. So it has become almost impossible for my father to maintain our educational expenses
any longer. Now I need a full free studentship/help from the poor fund. If I am not granted a
full free studentship/help from the poor fund I have to put an end to my studies. I beg to add
that I have been a regular student and my academic result is always satisfactory.
