III. Procedure
A. Preparation

 Checking of prior knowledge
B. Motivation
The tutor will give an activity to the learner which is a word puzzle. The learner
will answer the word puzzle with the help of the given clues.
C. Lesson Proper
The tutor will discuss what the climate is and the factors that affect the climate,
such as the distance from the equator, altitude of a place, surrounding bodies of
water, topography and ocean currents.
D. Application
The student will answer the activity 1 entitled “When the Sun’s Rays Strike” and
the activity 2 entitled “Which should I choose, Windward or Leeward” together
with the guide questions in each activity.
IV. Evaluation
On your science notebook, read each direction and answer what is asked.
For numbers 1 to 5, write agree if the statement is correct and disagree if the statement is
wrong.
