Describe the disruption that is affecting the industry. Choose one disruption and explain in
detail its impact on the university. What issue(s) is it causing the University. Be specific.
Make sure to use appropriate in-text citation when and where necessary.

The Data-driven Driven Response


Choose one significant solution for the disruption you have mentioned above. Explain how
your solution will solve the one or more issues you have mentioned above. Explain why it’s a
data-driven response (how you are using data in the solution). You can again use the parts of
the BMC that have changed sue to your solution (would be a good comparison opportunity).
You can also use the 10-innovation framework to validate that your solution will be
successful. Make sure to use appropriate in-text citation when and where necessary.

Operationalising the Solution


Describe to the best of your ability how you will put your solution into action. This would
then make sure that your solution is realistic. You’d need to mention timelines, resources
required, costing, etc. You could mention what strategy the organisation needs to follow to
make this solution a reality (Topic 11). Make sure to use appropriate in-text citation when
and where necessary.

Potential Ethical Issues


Because your solution is data-driven, there will be some ethical implications for the
University. Describe at least one ethical issue and you may suggest tackling it. Use the
information from topics on Data Ethics and Data Governance in your answer. Make sure to
use appropriate in-text citation when and where necessary.
