Our Teachers are a great source of inspiration for us. We would like to thank our teacher Madam
Rakshanda from the bottom of our hearts. She has helped us understand this research topic and
complete it in a presentable manner. Her guidance has helped us shape our talents and skills to
their best. A special thanks to Madam Sonia, who taught us MS Word and made sure that we
know the basics of MS word. Lastly, without the cooperation of each group member this project

ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION
Harassment covers a wide range of behaviors of an offensive nature. It is commonly understood
as behavior that humiliates, degrades or discomfits a person, and it is typically identified by its
incongruousness in terms of social and moral sensibleness. In the legal sense, these are actions
that seem to be alarming, offensive or intimidating. Workplace harassment is the demeaning or
threatening behavior focused at an individual worker or a group of workers. Workplace
harassment is very common issue of today’s world. As victims are often unconvinced of what
qualifies as harassment and what to do when they're being harassed. It often goes unreported and

toxic and unproductive environment. Harassing conduct may include offensive jokes, slurs,
name-calling, physical assaults, threats, bullying, ridicule, insults, offensive pictures, and more.
Some common issues that may involve sexual harassment are pinups in the workplace, asking a
coworker for a date, rude treatment of women, verbal abuse and jokes. There are many types of
harassment in the workplace that can come from a co-worker, supervisor, boss, vendor or client
that can cause an employee to feel uncomfortable or threatened, so let’s take closer look at the
most common types of workplace harassment. These count physical harassment, personal
harassment, discriminatory harassment, psychological harassment, cyber bullying and sexual
harassment. In this underlying report quantitative research is done on workplace harassment.
