MECH 3030 Mechanisms of Machinery

This document provides information about the MECH 3030 Mechanisms of Machinery course taught by Dr. Minglu XIA in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The course introduces mechanisms, which are assemblies of rigid members connected by joints that transfer motion and work from an input member to an output member. Examples provided are the four-stroke piston engine and the slider-crank linkage that converts straight-line motion to rotary motion.
