Activity: My Diary

Write about your personal experience about the different skills and task that you
encounter. It is much better if you are able to express yourself in written word on how you
describe the following based on your understanding and experiences in life.

Answer the following questions:

1. What stages of your life can you say that you have already experienced sexual maturity?
Can you describe it?
The stages in my life that I can say that I've already
experienced sexual maturity is Adolescence (13-18) ,these stages I
learned about reproductive systems which I have. My sexual
development is because of puberty stages. I already have a hairy
beard in my chin, armpit hair, acne appear, my body shape got bigger
and other sexual maturation that normal humans have.

2. What part of your life do you find difficult in making decisions and why?
When I'm overthinking I make dozens of decisions every day. I
eat food, go to high school , watch movies, everything that needs to
be made. These are not the decisions I'm having trouble with but
those certain decisions that involve lots of factors. This ‘factor’
can be money, can be some person, can be my parents, can be my
future, can be the unpredictable result.

3. What kind of coping skills do you use most of the time?
I use Opposite Action, doing something the opposite of my impulse
that’s consistent with a more positive emotion. I look for
inspirational or motivational quotes that can relieve my stress, I
watch funny movies or my favorite series that entertains me.

4. Have you experienced, dilemma in making decisions? Why?

Yes, I've experienced difficulty in making decisions because I
always look at those negative effects in my plans, I always have
self doubt that my goals are not fit for me so overthinking attacks
me when making decisions.

5. Where do you want to be in a year, 5 years, and 10 years? What do you expect your future
timeline will be?
My focus after 5 years is to have self growth or self
development, I know that problems are there but as time goes by i
want to see myself that i'm happy, and after 10 years I want to see
myself escaped in the darkest tunnel in my life and to be mature
enough to fight every battles that I might face.

III. What’s New?

Reflection:
1. As you are in Grade 12, you are in transition from high school to college, from being an
adolescent to young adult. How do you feel about this transition?
Im feel that i'm not ready to mature at the same time I'm excited
to enter in college because it feels like you have obligation and
responsibilities to improve yourself everyday at the same time you
need to push yourself to your limit because when you are in
college you need to be self independent and need to be ready for
every problem that you might face.

2. Do you think you are ready for this transition which may mean more responsibilities and
greater accountability? If not, what are the expected tasks you need to work on? If yes, what
are the ways to take so you can better plan for the future?
Yes but a little bit afraid but my way to make a better plan for
my future Is to be ready and need to sacrifice a lot of things like
Time, family and Social interactions with your friend etc. and be
responsible in everythings and be manageable everywhere.
