Business/Materials Lesson Objectives
Students will be able to identify and describe the
Video (How is the weather? properties of different types of weathers (sunny, cloudy,
Active Board, internet connection, rainy, snowy, warm, cold, windy, foggy, stormy)by
hand outs using the key vocabulary.

Students will be able to talk about weather in their


country
Warm-up and Objective Discussion

Teacher will show the video about asking weather tell the students that they will learn about
asking weather in this lesson by listening and speaking activities.

Instruct and Model  R  W  L  S

I will tell them to look out of the window and tell me something about weather. Is it cold or is
it hot? Then they will try to talk about weather. Then we will listen a song about weather
before we listen I will tell them to keep words in their mind, After we watch and listen the
song they will try to tell the words about weather and we will write on the board. then I will
show them all types of weathers
And I will write on the board;
There is weather is

sun sunny
rain rainy
cloud cloudy
snow snowy
wind windy
storm stormy
I will let them repeat some words after me then we will watch and listen another song at the
same time we will sing together it will be fun.

Guided Practice  R  W  L  S
 we will do a quiz on the internet (edpuzzle.com )It will be a sample of homework that they
will do at the weekend and I will show them one of the video about weather and the video will
stop questions will appear one by one then they will try to answer to these questions. It will be
fun for them   I will stop let them to complete my sentence the weather is ..... then they will
complete my sentences. There will be multiple choice and open ended questions.

Independent Practice  R  W  L  S
I will give them a worksheet about completing missing words and word search puzzle

Assessment  R  W  L  S

I will give them homework about recording a video about the weather in their country .What
do they wear what objects do they use etc.(They will talk about it 1 -2 minutes and send it to
my mail address)Home works will be checked and feed backs will be given. Videos will be
graded. I will find the gaps in their learning what is missing then give feedback . I will give
them a vocabulary quiz, fill in the blanks then after this assessment finally they will have a
graded quiz based on weather conditions
