exposed in different workplace. They must learned to determine different types of its
hazards.
As they go along this module they must do the task assign on them, do different
activity and answer all assessment needed to identify hazard and risk you may encounter in
different work place.

What I need to Know

At the end of the lesson you must be able to:

LO2. Identify the Hazards and Risk in the workplace.
2.Determine the types of hazards and risks in the workplace

How to Learn from this Module

To get the most from this Module, you need to do the following:
 Begin by reading and understanding the Learning Outcome/s
and Performance Standard . These tell you what you should know and
be able to do at the end of this Module.

get 99 to 100% correctly, go through the Lesson again and review
especially thos items which you failed to get.
 Do the required Learning Activities. They begin with one or
more Information Sheets. An Information Sheet contains important notes
or basic information that you need to know. After reading the
Information Sheet, test yourself on how much you learned by means
of the Self-check. Refer to the Answer Key for correction. Do not
hesitate to go back to the Information Sheet when you do not get all

Read and understand information sheet no. 3.

Factors that influence the degree of risk include :

Safety measures or actions.
Ex. Lifting heavy objects incorrectly – Hazard
