Message From Head of The Department
As our need for technology grows, so does our need for mechanical
engineers. With the job market tightening and the green pastures of us not are
appearing as lucrative as earlier, the low hanging fruit within your reach which can
empower you in EDUCATION.
You, my young students are probably stepping into the global world that is
more challenging. Higher education has the responsibility of offering not just
knowledge but value based knowledge so that our integrity will help us to hold our
head high while we accomplish our task
I believe that this symposium will provide a great learning and wonderful
experience for all of you.
My best wishes to HoD, and his dedicated team of staff and students of
Mechanical Engineering Department.
I am also glad that a souvenir is also being released in this regard. I would be
failing in my duty if I don’t greet the charismatic budding engineers function a
superb shape.
As it is always good to learn from others work, I hope that all our future
engineers and also the delegates from various colleges will have a good opportunity
to learn a lot. I am sure that this symposium will be flooded with technical
information which will definitely benefit the students. It needs to be said that
MECHXIMA ’15 will add feathers to the cap of our institution.

boundaries are continually being established in the field of Design and
manufacturing Areas. The first national level technical symposium has attracted to
established technical students from around the India. The papers show that exciting
work is undertaken in the topics of Design, Thermal and Manufacturing etc. in
addition that interaction between delegates attending the symposium has led to new
ideas and exciting research directions
The success of the symposium is a result of the efforts of the contributors and
presenters who have shared with us the latest developments in their respective
fields. Such an event is not possible without the hard work of the reviewers, to whom
I am deeply indebted for their time and professional opinions on the submissions. I
understand many reviewers have sacrificed their spare time in order to meet the
tight time schedule.
I am grateful to all the contributors who have presented their valuable work
to the student’s community.
