MattiNHS Guidance Program Accomplishment Report

1) Matti National High School implemented its Homeroom Guidance Program in the first quarter of the 2020-2021 school year to foster positive attitudes, behaviors, and values in students. 2) The first Career Guidance Modules were delayed due to printing and distribution challenges from COVID-19 safety protocols, but with support from administrators and guidance staff, the program was successfully carried out. 3) From October to February, guidance modules were printed, sorted, distributed to advisers, and retrieved from students on a monthly basis, with documentation of the process. Monitoring ensured the guidance program progressed as intended during disruptions from the pandemic.

HOMEROOM GUIDANCE PROGRAM provides wholesome learning


experiences that will foster positive attitudes, behaviors and values and improve
relationship between teachers and students.
Matti National High School successfully implemented the Homeroom
Guidance Program in the 1st Quarter of this school year through the leadership of our
school principal, Mrs. Aimee Amor C. Porto with the help of the Guidance
Designates as the program managers and Class Advisers as program implementer.
The school principal made sure that the program was implemented in
accordance to the vision and mission of the program. The advisers, together with the
parents, identified and implemented possible interventions for the progress of the
learner by developing Individual Monitoring Report so as to track down their progress
and needs.
The first set of modules for Quarter 1 bound to arrive from the Central Office
were delayed so the first few weeks of the distribution faced challenges and hurdles.
It was due to printing and distribution constraints such as safety and health concerns
and deficit in printing materials. However, with the support of our school principal,
monitoring of the guidance s and cooperation of the advisers and parents and also
with the help of our Division Guidance and Counselling Supervisor Ms. Rofelia De
Mesa who was always active in responding to our queries and concerns, the
homeroom guidance program was successfully implemented.
