Learning At the end of the lesson, students can:

i) Understand meaning in a context by naming the parts of the body
ii) Communicate simple information by giving some examples using articles.

Aktiviti PRE LESSON
Pengajaran dan
pembelajaran: Brainstorming
- Teacher write toys in the centre of the slide and ask students to elicit the toys that they
know.
- Teacher introduce the word “ Robot”

LESSON DEVELOPMENT

Activity 1 (What’s Missing)

- Teacher shows the flashcards of the part of the body. Teacher say the words for
students to repeat and ask students to spell the words
- Students play “What’s Missing?” with teacher. Teacher remove one card at a time and
ask students what’s the missing card.
- Teacher repeat the process multiple times until flashcards are all removed.
Activity 2

- Students look at the picture in their Student’s Books.


- Students elicit who they can see in the picture, where they are and what are they
doing.
- Teacher plays the recording. Students point to the words when they hear them and
repeat after it.

Activity 3

- Students look at the chant and check understanding of the vocabularies.


- Teacher plays the music. Students listen and follow the chant in their Student’s Book.
- Teacher do the chant without the music and ask students to follow the chant.
- Students take turn to do the chant individually, standing up and pointing to the
relevant body part when they chant it.

Activity 4

- Teacher highlighted the articles used in the Jazz Chant and teach about article ‘a, an,
the’
- Students give some examples by using the articles correctly
- Students copy the vocabularies into their exercise book.

POST LESSON

- Students review the words and touch the relevant body part
- Students do the Jazz Chant before ending the lesson.
Reflection: i) _____ / _____ ( %) students can understand meaning in a context by naming
the parts of the body
ii) _____ / _____ ( %) students can communicate simple information by giving
some examples using articles.
Intervention: Weak student can understand meaning in a context by naming 3 parts of the body
