III. PROCEDURES A. Introduction


.1.Let the teacher give an activity called “Follow
what I say” to test if the learners are ready for the
lesson.
2. Presentation of behavioral and score chart
as a material used for classroom management.
3.Review: (Strategy: Guessing Game)
The teacher will gives a riddle and let the pupils
guess it.

c. usa ka prinsisa nakalingkod sa tasa.
d. Sa gabii ako Makita, nag iwag sa gagmayng

4.Motivation:
Post a picture on the board. Let the pupils
observe the picture and say something about it.
B. Modeling (Strategy: concept
formation through powerpoint presentation)
1. The teacher will post a sentence using
a powerpoint presentation. We will read the
sentences on the board. Observe the underline
words.

C.Guided Practice (small group discussion)


-Remind the class about the behavioral and
score chart.
-Present the rubrics for group activity.
- The teacher will group the class into three
groups. Each group will have pairs of synonyms
and have them arrange it by pasting to the paper
given.

D.Independent Practice (Strategy: Find the


perfect partner – Game)
Each pupil will be given cut-outs with
words with the same meaning. They will form a
big circle and instruct them to show the words
they are holding. The teacher will play a music
as a signal that they will roam around the
classroom and look for their partner. Once they
have found it they will stay in a corner and wait
for the teacher to check their answer.
