Dear students, as you already know, some of the teachers from our school are

planning to urge us all to use a famous social media for the class activities. This innovative idea
interested some of you, who are excited about using different type of features, but others are
not, including some teachers who do not support the idea.

Once proved successful, the idea could be implanted permanently. Afford to make use
of technology in teaching could be helpful if used correctly. It could help you understand
better what is explained, additionally it will provide you a relaxing way of studying, combining
learning and having fun. Furthermore, you would have access to fresh content, given the fact
that the internet is the fastest source of information. As a result, your assignments and
homework would always be well done.

On the other hand, forcing the use of technology in class will have a downside if you
take into consideration the fact that the teachers who were opposite to the idea might don’t
make heads or tails of how to manage the thing properly, as well as some of you. Besides,
there are many people who are afraid of using social media more and more. Certainly,
nowadays we sometimes seem to forget the importance of the face to face talk, it’s something
we must hold dear. Moreover, it changes the way and intensity we express ourselves.
According to a 2019 study, the number of social media users worldwide has increased from
two to three billion since 2016.

Nevertheless, the idea has its drawbacks. Yet in my point of view, teachers are to be
taught how to use technology when teaching and so could you, students. The fact is that it
should never be mandatory, whoever doesn’t feel likely to use it will not have to do so. In
other words, people should be able to choose. Finally, I truly believe that the final decision
should only be made after a period of testing to see whether the proposal works out, and if so,
it will definitely be a good advance for the school.

In summary, using technology along with conventional education could be very

effective as soon as teachers don’t let technology take over books and other sources of
information.
