TILOS Support Note - Installing Program and Data Folders

This document explains where the TILOS program installs files on a user's computer. It will install program files to a suggested folder like C:\Program Files\TILOS\TILOS101, and data files to a separate suggested folder. TILOS Support Note 


Installing Program and Data Folders 
 

This document explains where TILOS copies files to your computer. 

Note 

For the installation on common Windows systems (User is Poweruser) no local 


administrative privileges are required. On specific systems with strong administrative 
restrictions (Terminal servers, networks…) appropriate administrative privileges are 
required.  
 
There will be no common libraries (dll) installed or registered in the Windows environment. 
The installation is started by executing the installation file Setup-TILOS101-EN.exe. 
1. Select the installation type: Standard Installation or USB Stick Installation. 
2. A destination folder for program files is suggested. (C:\Program files\TILOS\TILOS101). 
This folder can be changed if required. For USB-installation please use a folder on the 
USB-Stick. 
3. Please confirm or change the required Start Menu folder. 
4. A data folder for Sample files is suggested. This folder can be changed if required. For 
USB-installation automatically the folder “data” beneath the program folder is used.
