Course Learning Outcomes
Through this course, Students are expected to:

▶ Learning basic words, configuration, and basic sentence structures that are essential in everyday life

▶To understand and express content based on their daily and personal life such as yesterday’s daily routine, describing
weather, time, making an appointment, expressing weekend activities and studying Korean and explaining plan.
▶To be able to ask and answer using proper tense and conjugation in their daily conversation.

Module Overview
In this lesson, we will learn ㄹ regular/irregular verbs and ㅂ, regular/ irregular verbs. We will learn various
expressions with the theme of learning Korean. Let’s learn expressions such as whether it is easy or difficult to speak
Korean and why did you learn Korean?

 Apply correct ending in ㄷ ,ㅂ verb
 Identify sentences that has different conjugations
 Conduct a conversation with purpose of studying Korean

3. ‘ㄷ’ irregular / regular verbs

3.1 ‘ㄷ’ irregular verbs – Some verbs with a stem ending in ‘ㄷ’are changed irregularly
when followed by vowel.

3.2 Other verbs with a stem ending in ‘ㄷ’ is changed regularly.

‘걷다’and ‘묻다’ have two meanings and take different verb ending changes according to
the meaning being used in the sentence.

4. ‘ㅂ’ irregular/regular verbs

4.1 ‘ㅂ’ irregular verbs/adjectives: Some verbs and adjectives with stem ending in ‘ ㅂ’
are irregular when it followed by a vowel. ‘ㅂ’ is changed to ‘ ㅜ’
