Recommended Study Schedule

This schedule has been prepared under the assumption that you will spend a full six months to
complete the course. In the Study Plan activity, you are expected to modify the schedule below.

Note that later units in the course build on earlier ones, so you must work through the course in
the order specified below. Remember that you are strongly encouraged to keep to your schedule.

Day 1 Read through the Student Manual and this Course Information carefully, and
call your tutor to make initial contact.
Submit your Study Plan.
Post in the Introductory Forum.
Begin working on Unit 1 in the Study Guide.
Begin working on Assignment 1.
Day 4 Complete Unit 1 and the associated readings and exercises.
Report to your tutor.
Begin working on Unit 2.
Day 5 Complete Unit 2 and the associated exercises and readings.
Day 6 Begin working on Unit 3.
Report to your tutor.
Day 7 Continue to work on Unit 3.
Day 8 Complete and review Units 1, 2, and 3, then consult with your tutor.
Day10 Complete Assignment 2.
Submit your assignment through the assignment link (or follow the special
instructions for this assignment).
Begin working on Unit 4.
Report to your tutor.
Day 12 Complete Unit 4 and the associated exercises and readings.
Day 14 Begin working on Unit 5.
Report to your tutor.
Day 15 Continue to work on Unit 5.
Day 16-18 Complete Unit 5 and the associated exercises and readings.
Complete the Academic Integrity Skills Module and the MLA Documentation
Skills Module, and their respective quizzes.
Review Units 3, 4, and 5.
Consult with your tutor, then complete Assignment 3.
Submit your assignment through the assignment link.
Day 19 Begin working on Unit 6.
Report to your tutor.
Day 20 Continue to work on Unit 6.
Day 21 Complete Unit 6 and the associated exercises and readings.
Report to your tutor.
Day 22 Begin working on Unit 7.
Day 23 Continue to work on Unit 7.
Report to your tutor.
Day 24 Complete Unit 7 and the associated exercises and readings.
Day 29 Begin working on Unit 8.
Day 37 Complete Unit 8 and the associated exercises and readings.
Review Units 6, 7, and 8.
Consult with your tutor, and begin working on Assignment 4a.
Day 39 Begin working on Unit 9.
Day 40 Continue to work on Unit 9.
Report to your tutor.
Day 42-45 Complete Unit 9 and the associated exercises and readings.
Complete and submit Assignment 1 through the assignment link.
Complete and submit Assignment 4a through the assignment link
Day 50 Begin your review of the entire course, then consult with your tutor.
Day 52 Consult with your tutor and review feedback from Assignment 4a.
Begin Assignment 4b.
Day 56 Complete Assignment 4b, and submit it through the assignment link. This
assignment will be posted publicly to the Assignment 4b Forum on the course
Moodle site and not through the assignment dropbox.
