GENERAL INFORMATION
Directions: Given a selection of portable fire extinguishers, extinguish an incipient Class A, Class B, or
Class C fire.

Objective: Demonstrate using an appropriate class of fire extinguisher to extinguish a small, incipient
stage fire. (OSFM 2-7.6, 2-7.6, 2-16.2, 2-16.10)

NFPA 1001, 2013 Ed. Task: Extinguish a Class A, Class B, or Class C fire.
