I have gained my learning on this competency throughout many years of involvement in pre contract stage of the
project in Bahrain, Iraq. I have completed CIQS accredited 3 years Onterio College Certificate coure on the following:
RICS Certificate in Quantity Surveying Practice, Post Graduate Certificate in Built Environment Studies, UCEM, UK
1 1. Main types of procurement used
2. Tendering and Negotiation processes involved in procurement
3. Ancillary processes such as partnering and framework agreements
4. Codes of practice and procedures commonly used in construction
During my job in Bismillah Contracting and Trading in Bahrain, I was involved in Tendering Process, and won
3-Storey Villa Project at Busaiteen site with my calculation, pricing and Submision to the Architect (Consultant)
my responsibilities were:
1. Reading and overview of Instruction to the tenderer (ITT), General Conditions of Contract (GCC), and
Appendix to General Conditions of Contract (GCC)
Procurement and 2. Measurement of Quantities from the Drawings and Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
Tendering 3. Preparation and Issuing tender documents to the qualified subcontractor or supply teams
2 4. Resposnding to Subcontractor queries, clarifications, and issuing revised drawings
5. Assessment of Subcontractor Selection by evaluation price in comparison sheet based on quality and price
6. I was involved in tender review and preparing the whole tender documents for submission.
7. Assisting the commercial manager by giving information such as project details, offer terms and conditions
8. I was responsible to request for missing information by raising tender queries and clarifications, tracked
down and ensured the completeness of the tender information on which an offer was based.
9. I tabulated a quotations for price comparisons and apply in the whole tender price
10. Attending in tender opening ceremony, negotiation, and agreement on the contract if awared.

3. Analysis of risk related to mobilization, demobilizations of equipment to the site, delivery of materilas on time
4. Removing & site clearance of existing old building, checking the surrounding road and facilites
