CONTENT STANDARD
The learners demonstrate an understanding of:

ICT in the context of global communication for specific professional track

PERFORMANCE STANDARD

The learners shall be able to: at the end of the 2-week period independently compose an insightful reflection paper on the
nature of ICT in the context of their lives, society, and professional tracks (Arts, TechVoc, Sports, Academic)

OBJECTIVES
At the end of the period, the students should be able to:
b. identify the advantages and disadvantages of technology; and
c. explain how ICT affect their everyday life.

ACTIVITIES/STRATEGIES/PRESENTATION

 The class will be divided into three groups.


 Series of questions will be presented and each member of the group will share their answers to their
respective group.
 How many times have you checked your phone this morning?
 How many status updates have you posted in Facebook, Instagram or Twitter today?
 How many hours do you use the internet in a day?
 Who among you is fond of “selfie”?
 Each group will be given 10 minutes for their sharing
 Each group will select 1 reporter and will be given 5 minutes to explain

EVALUATION
 On a ½ CW the students will write their own observation and opinion, on what they think is the
effect of technology in their life as a student? Write in a ½ cw.

ASSIGNMENT
On a ½ CW, the students will give at least five trends in ICT.
