Project 2 Reflection
I am feeling very positive about my project. I feel like I fulfilled all the terms and were
able to find interesting ways the artifacts compared to one another. I liked this more than project
one, mainly because I chose the most interesting point that I made in project one as my topic for
this project. Cash use was not something I had thought about until I started research and it was
noticed that my essays are no longer following a specific format, I would always follow a format
for my writings like a freshman in high school but with this last project I feel like I was a little
more adventurous. In this project I learned that there are a lot more aspects of writing or
composing than just a thesis, topics, evidence, and explanations. Analyzing these artifacts lead
me to realize that there is a lot of factors that need to be considered to create good rhetoric. I
think I learned this through trying, and finding, all these aspects in the artifacts I was reading.
The most challenging part of project 2 was staying away from just stating what happened in the
artifacts, I kept finding myself summarizing points even though that is not what I am supposed to
be doing in the entire essay. The most rewarding part was finishing it and feeling confident in the
writing. In project 2 we had to read into the characteristics of our artifacts, this is not something I
usually do when I am looking for evidence. In the future I will identify all the context, audience,
etc. in the source so that I can have a better understanding of what the author is trying to convey.
This will help me when pulling evidence, I will be able to paraphrase better in the future if I can
