d. Radio Message from PS-4 Mobile Patrol #143 on June 16, 2021 at
12:15 a.m.

2. In relation to a case of rape that transpired on or about 12:15 midnight of


June 16, 2021 at Kagandahan Dormitory, Legarda St., Barangay 410, Sampaloc,
Manila City involving victim, Wynona Mendoza, female, single, 19 years old, nursing
student of Arellano University, Legarda Campus; and suspects John Paul Baluyut,
21 years old, college student and presently residing at 233 Gastambide St.,
Sampaloc, Manila; and John Paul Arayat, 34 years old, married, unemployed and a
resident of Lot 1, Blk. 2, Barangay 141, Sampaloc, Manila (both arrested).

3. On June 16, 2021, result of the Genital examination conducted by the PNP
Crime Laboratory Office, Camp Crame, Quezon City yielded positive results for
Rape. Further, it also yielded presence of semen conclusive of sexual intercourse.

4. On June 17, 2021, a criminal complaint for Rape under Art 266 paragraph
b as amended by RA 8353 - Anti Rape law of 1976 was referred against suspects for
inquest proceedings at the Office of the City Prosecutor, Manila docketed under INQ-
INC-123456. Said suspects were temporarily detained at the custodial facility of
Sampaloc Police Station (PS-4) while waiting for the release of the Inquest
Resolution.
5. On June 30, 2021, a criminal information for Rape under Art 266
paragraph b as amended by RA 8353 - Anti Rape Law of 1976 was filed against
John Paul Baluyut and John Paul Arayat at the Regional Trial Court, Branch 56,
Manila docketed under CC Number 20J-04475-76 with Honorable Judge Maka S
Ling as Presiding Judge with no recommended bail. Subsequently, a commitment
order was issued by Hon. Judge Ling on the same date. Both accused were
committed by personnel of this office at the Manila City Jail on the same date.
