Shutdown Mechanical works

Cranes

Descritption of work
Meltshop 80 ton crane no.4, busbar side drive and free wheel service needs to be done.
Meltshop 80 ton crane no.4, both sides cross travel needs to be replaced.
Meltshop 80 ton crane no.4, cross travel cleaning needs to be done.
Meltshop 80 ton crane no.4, cross travel small hoist work needs to be done.
Lubrication of all cranes needs to be done.
Meltshop 80 ton crane no.3, cross travel hoist work needs to be done.
Meltshop 80 ton crane no.3, service needs to be done for large hoist.
Dismantling and fixing of bus bar and rail track from column B 16 to 21 needs to be done.
Scrapyard crane no.4, brake drum needs to be replaced.
Scrap yard crane no.3, main hoist brake drum and universal cross needs to be replaced.
Hydraulics

EAF

Roof lifting cylinder check valve needs to be replaced. Hoses needs to be wrapped and insulated.
Roof rotation valve needs to be reaplced.
furnace tilting pilot valve needs to be replaced.
CCM
Shearing pump and valve need to be checked.
shearing cylinder showering line needs to be clean and repaired.

LRF
Cleaning required of powerpack

Refractory
Cleaning required of powerpack
Scrap yard
Check all the grabber's oil level, top up if required and check the leakages.

FTP/ISAC

Settling chamber welding and door pin greasing and lubrication.


Hair pin cooling chamber cleaning
FTP rotary equipment lubrication and greasing
FTP primary duct inspection and cleaning.
VCG cleaning and greasing
WBC01, SBC 02, SBC 03 and SBC 04 border and scrapers to be changed.
VCG schute to be fabricated and fixing
Main fan and motor inspection, cleaning and tightening of bolts.

EAF

Upper shell to be replaced


EAF roof to be replaced
LF roof needs to be replaced.
Forks of furnace roof lifting needs to be replaced.
EAF and LF greasing to be done
Slag board maintenance.
Weld/ repair of necessary parts of EAF and LF.
Water Complex and Compressors

Portion no.1, furnace cooling tower 1 fan removal, workshop work needs to be done and then fixing again at the place.
Cleaning of spray tank and spray cooling tower.
portion no.2, furnace 110 kw pump to be open and install new sleeves, O ring seal and gland packing needs to be replaced.
Cleaning of FTP cooling tower and repair for leakages in tower.
Greasing of all rotary equipment will be done.
Cleaning of compressors, replacement of oil and replacement of parts needs to be done if spares available.
