(2) Without derogating from his responsibility or liability in terms of subsection (1), a chief executive officer may assign any duty
contemplated in the said subsection, to any person under his control, which person shall act subject to the control and directions of
the chief executive officer.
Your appointment will be effective from date of this appointment and will remain effective until revoked by myself.
Furthermore, you are to familiarise yourself with the full scope of duties of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, No
85 of 1993, especially those contained in the following sections:
Section 7 Company Health & Safety Commitment (Policy)
Section 8 General Duties of Employers to their Employees
Section 9 General Duties of Employers to Persons Other than their Employees
Section 10 General Duties of Manufacturers & Others Regarding Articles & Substances for Use at Work
Section 13 Duty to Inform
Section 14 General Duties of Employees at Work
