ONLINE RECRUITMENT SYSTEM

 ABSTRACT :-

This project is aimed at developing a web-based and central recruitment Process


system for the HR Group for a company. Some features of this system will be creating
vacancies, storing application data, and Interview process initiation, Scheduling
interviews, storing Interview results for the applicant and finally Hiring of the
applicant. Reports may be required to be generated for the use of the HR group. This
project ‘Online Recruitment System is an online website in which jobseekers can register
themselves and then attend the exam. Based on the outcome of the exam the jobseekers will
be short listed. For fresher, the exam will be conducted at some venue after short listing of
the preliminary Aptitude Test. The details of the examination, venue & Date of the
examination will be made available to them through the website.

Introduction and background of the industry or user based Problem

 INTRODUCTION : -

This project Online Recruitment System is an online website in which jobseekers can
register themselves online and apply for job and attend the exam. Online Recruitment
System provides online help to the users all over the world. Using web recruitment
systems like recruitment websites or jobsites also play a role in simplifying the
recruitment process. Earlier recruitment was done manually and it was all at a time
consuming work. Now it is all possible in a fraction of second. It is all done online without
much time consuming. Today’s recruitment applications are designed to do a whole lot

more than just reduce.

They can make a significant contribution to a company’ s marketing and sales


activity. Recruitment websites and software make possible for managers to access
information that is crucial to managing their staff, which they can use for promotion
decisions, payroll considerations and succession planning. Online Recruitment System
enables the users to have the typical examination facilities and features at their disposal. It
resolves typical issues of manual examination processes and activities into a controlled
and closely monitored work flow in the architecture of the application.

The objective of these websites is to serve as a common meeting ground for


jobseekers and employers, both locally and globally, where the candidates find their
dream jobs and recruiters find the right candidate to full fill their needs. These sites are
specifically designed for those who seek the most demanding and challenging positions
in their chosen field, with the most dynamic employers.

 PROBLEM STATEMENT : -

The recruitment system allows the job seekers to view the job opportunity
through Advertisement and helps to apply for the job. The organization shortlist the
applicants for the interview. The shortlisted applicants undergo through a process of
Test and Interview. The HR department selects the Applicant based on the
performance in the Test and Interview. Finally the recruited applicants are informed.
This system makes the task of the job seeker easier rather than waiting in queue for
enrollment. This also reduces the time consumption for both for the job seeker and
organization.

 MOTIVATION : -
The main purpose of the project is to provide the job for the job seeker as per the
company requirements. The basic aim is to create an automated system to perform the
Recruitment System Process. The basic aim of our project is to provide the job facilities
online for the job seeker. This system is very helpful for the candidates to apply a job online
within less time.

OBJECTIVES :-
The objective of these websites is to serve as a common meeting ground for
jobseekers and employers, both locally and globally, where the candidates find their dream
jobs and recruiters find the right candidate to fulfill their needs.

Literature Survey for Problem Identification and Specification

 Literature Survey : -

E-recruitment can lead them to a new competitive position in regional labor


markets due to the importance of knowledge workers and resource-based
competition. The review of the above literature provides an indication that online
recruitment (e-recruitment) is acknowledged as being an important aspect of
job/candidate searching for jobseekers and organizations. Moreover, e-recruiting is
becoming more effective recruitment tools, creating an avenue to build relationships
between job seekers and organizations

Proposed Detailed Methodology of solving the identified problem


with action plan

 PROPOSED SYSTEM :-

Online Recruitment is aimed at developing a web-based and central

website to a job seeker and a company. In this we will provide the job details and the
company details. So the job seeker can see the details of the company and the company can
also see the details of the job seeker. This project Online Recruitment System is an online
website in which jobseekers can register themselves and then attend the exam. Based on
the outcome of the exam the jobseekers will be shortlisted. The details of the examination
& Date of the examination will be made available to them through the website. People
all around the world can apply and register. It has made all the process easy.

 METHODOLOGY :-

Company and job seeker are the 2 factors of our current system. First the
company and the job seeker should create the own account and register to our website. After
the registration both the company and job seeker will log in the website. Then the job seeker
will add its own log in details and company will add its own log in details. Further, the job
seeker will search the job according to its profile. And the company will search the job
according to the requirements of the company. Then the job seeker will apply for a job and
the company will place the job.

If the company receives the candidate as per the company’s requirements then the
company will check the details and the profile of the candidate , if it fulfils then company will
accept the candidate for the further process. Then the company will interact with the
candidate and conduct a online examination. Then if the candidate gets pass in this
examination the there is a interview conducted by a company.

After the completion of the interview, if the candidate is passed then the company
will provide a job and company will provide the details and will final the salary. And if the
candidate do not get pass, then the company will reject the candidate and search a other
candidate as per the requirements of company

The proposed system will affect or interface with the activities of graduate,
employer and administrator. The system works and full fills all the functionalities as per the
proposed system. It will provide reduced response time against the queries made by
different users. The administrator will have a clear view of number of vacancies for a
particular job, number of candidates applied and number of candidates selected.

So , the future scope of our project is : -

1. covert the website into the mobile application

2. add the e – mail facility in it.

3. add the sms facility in the website.

 This system can be used by the multiple peoples to get the counselling sessions
online.

 Conclusion:-

 The system facilitates the company to find qualified and qualified workers with the
company's request.

 The company does not need to take a long time to find a suitable job candidate.

Finally we have conclude that we are able to make the online recruitment system using
the python language using Django framework.
