capacity in mathematical problems in real life situation.
Materials: Drawing Materials, Show me Board, Calendar, pens, Manila papers, flashcards
and calendar.
III. Procedure:
A. Preparatory Activity:
1. Drill
Show Flashcards with names of the seven days of the week. Let the pupils read the
names

Then, post these cards in any order on the board. Ask a volunteer to arrange the cards in
right order.
2. Pre-Assessment ( Review )
3. Motivation:
Show a puzzle calendar and call 8 volunteers to arrange the puzzle accordingly..
Ask: What is these?

What do these calendars tell us?
B. Developmental Activities:
Posing a task
Presenting examples/ instances of new lesson presentation
Show a picture story about a boy going to a vacation. Present the problem (to be written on
the board for the pupils to work on) below.
It is summer, Rino wants to have a vacation in Tagaytay City together with his friends. They
stayed there from April 15 upt May 5. How many weeks did they stay in Tagaytay?
