Age of Respondents: Results and Discussion
The statistics and information acquired from the responses of grade 11-12 respondents are
presented in the tables given in this chapter. Due to the rigorous quarantine regulations in place during
this pandemic, the questions are answered using online surveys distributed via Google Forms. All major
questions about the effects of mobile usage on pupils at Sibulan Science High School are included in the
survey.

For each of the features indicated in the table above, Table 1 displays the data provided by the
28 respondents out of a total population of Senior High students at Sibulan Science High School.
The respondents involved in the collection of data has their own personal mobile phones and are
most likely to be females that are aged 17 years old in consonance with the information accumulated.

Table 2 illustrates that the use of mobile phones has a favorable influence on students' learning
based on the data gathered. With an average mean of 3.57 (4.00), the data reveals that mobile phones
have a positive impact on students at Sibulan Science High.

Table 3 demonstrates that, based on the data acquired, students has a neutral opinion about
whether mobile phones have detrimental impact on their learning, with an average mean of 2.78 (3.00).
Summary
The primary objective of this research is to find out the effects of mobile phone usage to the
Academic performance of the senior High school students of Sibulan science high School . The
overall number of respondents is 28, with the majority of them being women. Mobile phone
usage has a good impact on pupils' learning, and it is advantageous to them. When it comes to its
negative impact, nonetheless, students are split on how it affects their learning.
CHAPTER V.
Conclusion
The inquiries at the beginning of the study were answered descriptively. Based on the
data gathered, there is no significant relationship between students use of mobile phones and
their learning. In addition, there will be no significant gender difference in students use of mobile
phone.
Recommendation
To all researchers who wish to continue the study, it is recommended to research more
about mobile phone usage in terms of the variables, combine with the variable of the
respondent’s answers. Also, is is suggested that further research should be done on how to be
able to showed the effects of mobile phone usage to the students learning of Sibulan Science
