English activity for Integrated Project on ‘Global Warming’

Glaciers are melting, oceans are rising, forests are dying and wildlife is struggling to stay alive. It is crystal
clear that we, humans, have majorly been responsible for the past century’s global warming by powering
our modern lives and in turn releasing greenhouse gases. Keeping ‘Global Warming and Climate Change’
under check is our collective responsibility and in order to make our actions and efforts effective and
sustainable, we need to understand our Mother Earth inside out.
Here’s an activity for you to feel and express yourself as the Earth or a part of it.

• Write an ILLUSTRATED AUTOBIOGRAPHY as any one of the following (not more than 250 words)
Troubled Earth or Desperate Ocean or Confused Rain
• Give a suitable title.
• Mention “SDG-13-Climate Change” in your writing or illustration.

Here’s an example of how you can start as “Troubled Earth” - I have been referred as Mother Earth, beautiful
and bountiful, kind and generous. Lately, however, things have been very difficult for me………..
