Integration With D365CE and D365FO

The document outlines a requirement to integrate two separate D365 CE instances - one used for e-commerce and customer loyalty (CRM), and another used for supplier relationship management (SRM) - with a single D365 FO instance. Integration #2 between the CRM instance and D365 FO is within scope to sync product, supplier, and order data bidirectionally in near real time. Integrations #1 between SRM and FO, and #3 for intercompany processes, are out of scope. The integration must use an alternate method to Dual Write as only one Dual Write connection can be used per FO instance.

Requirement: Integrate D365 CE with D365 FO

Scope:

Business holds information related to Products, Suppliers and its related dimensions like Prices,
Locations, and others in a D365CE to serve many Commercial and Marketing requeriments mainly:

1. E-Commerce: All Products and its dimensions are being served in a distinct D365CE which serves
as the business e-commerce backend.
2. Loyalty Program: the same D365CE instance, business is using the system as the main customer
core. All customer information is in the same instance.

Objective:

Integrate a new distinct D365 instance into D365 F&O syncing Product and Suppliers entities and some
special sales orders.

Architecture Diagram:

General Details of Integrations:

1. SRMF&O: This is the integration handled between the instance of D365CE (SRM) and
D365F&O (Auto Mercado) to sync Entities of Products, Suppliers and Trade Agreements. The
Business need for this is to serve the Business’s Supplier Portal to allow Supplier and Product
Creation from the Portal and sync data to Auto Mercado’s legal entity D365 F&O. This is already
handled in other requirement.
2. CRMF&O: This integration handles data sync between D365 (CRM) and same D365F&O (Auto
Mercado). The Business need for this is to allow E-Commerce and Customer Loyalty Program to
serve all features in this CRM Instance. This integration is the actual Scope of this requirement.
3. Intercompany: This feature is already set up in the business implementation in order to allow
both Legal entities of D365 F&O to exchange multiple type of processes, however, we need to
include the exchange the Sales Order from Auto Mercado D365F&O Legal entity to Auto Deli
D365 F&O Legal Entity. This integration and configuration will be handled by Business Process
Team. [Not in scope]

Important Note:

Keep in mind we are using 2 (two) different instances of D365CE that needs to integrate data to same
D365 F&O (Auto Mercado) environment. As known by the moment Dual Write is being used for
integration 1. As known, there is a limitation to use only 1 connection of Dual Write using same D365
F&O (Auto Mercado). If this is the case in this requirement, we need to understand that needs to find
an alternate way to use another integration mechanism

Integrations in Scope:

#2 - CRMF&O

Integration out of Scope:

#1 - SRMF&O

#3 – Intercompany

Details of integration #2 - CRMF&O

Direction: Bidireccional

Frequency: NRT(Near Real Time [Nice to have])

Entities:

D365 CE (CRM) Direction D365 F&O (Auto Mercado)
