r. If I am planning to exercise to help in weight loss or simply to shape up

size clothing now fits and that my waist is getting smaller as measures
of success, rather than scale weight (which might or might not change
much, even as I am redistributing body mass)?
Yes, if i can get my desired body shape I can wear smaller size clothing.

And further, if I am going to exercise primarily for weight loss, is my true goal
to become really ‘‘thin,’’ rather than somewhat thinner?

Well my goal is just to get the average weight based on my height based on my BMI scale
ESSAY

Readiness is one of the first steps to be considered when planning to do exercise. It is because
readiness is a state of being fully prepared for something. In terms of exercise there are a lot to be
considered and a lot of areas to be prepared of. Readiness to engage on exercise enhances our goals
and insights on the following exercises that we would execute.

The thing he wants the most is a physically fit body because in this generation physical fitness is
everything. We may think that not in shape body, darker skin color, short in height and the likes are
undesirable. Perfect body shape can be obtained by understanding how our body works whether the
person is a fast metabolizer or not. Having a perfect body shape can boost your self-esteem, self-
acceptance and a different attitude to food and diet. He is at his teenage years; he got here by staying
healthy and doing exercise and diet. What he likes about his body is that it rarely gets tired, what he
doesn’t like about his body is that it is slightly out of shape. He is unhappy about the fact that he gained
weight for the past few months which can be positively affected by doing physical activities and healthy
diet. What he wants to change about his body is the fact that he has belly fat and is slightly out of shape.
He said that stress due to busy schedule can facilitate behavior change. In terms of physical activity
level, he is at the moderate level. He used to stretch and jog rarely but due to busy schedule he stopped
doing those things. To estimate his potential to stick with his exercise plan is based on whether his busy
schedule doesn’t clash with his daily exercise routine. The unmet personal needs he wishes to meet is a
healthy sleeping time because he always sleeps at 12 am or more and to eat less. He is willing to give up
something he is accustomed to attain a healthy lifestyle. He will try his best so that he can mobilize
mental strength. He said that his previous with personal health behavior change has success for a short
time, he is pretty sure that it will help him this time. From previous experience he said he learned how
to maintain his physical health and he is very realistic about this. He perceives himself as an average 20-
year-old adolescent. He thinks that he is just an average looking, but not attractive, but in terms of
health and diet he is healthy. What he sees in the mirror is an average height, somewhat chubby looking
boy, and he said that it made him insecure because he wanted a body shape that is not too fat and not
too skinny. He said that if he can attain his desired body shape, he can fit smaller sized clothing. He said
that his goal is just to get the average weight based on his BMI scale and not go with “really thin”
because it can make him look sickly. In conclusion readiness to engage in exercise often requires much
time and preparation. And also there are factors to be considered and also goals to achieve maximum
effectiveness. Our determination to execute and continue our exercise will then be the root of our
physical fitness.
