Service means activities, benefits and satisfactions which are offered for sale or are
provided in connection with the sale of goods. Evaly founded in December 2018 as
an e-commerce platform, Evaly has grown to become one of the renowned
marketplaces in Bangladesh. From its inception, the company has focused on
competitive pricing with countrywide shipping. The company has differentiated
itself from other e-commerce platforms by giving lucrative offers on high value
products like motorcycles, cars, phones, home appliances and furniture’s.
In March 2020, during the pandemic, the company launched Evaly Express, which
is an express service that delivers groceries and medicines. Later on, in June 2020
they came up with their food delivery platform Efood.

Changes What experiences:


The changes I have personally experienced as a consumer because I have been used
their services.

2. Facilities to claim about product and service.
3. Large number of seller.
4. Decorated packaging and friendly customers service for its customers.
5. Online payment.
6. Free Home delivery service.
7. Inform product position by mobile app.
8. Discount gift vouchers.
9. Create new scope for investor.
10. Weekly cyclone offers.
11. All categories food items are available in e-food service.
12. Cash refund facilities.

14. Scope for different companies to increase their sales.

Recently provided four types of service:
Evaly Express: In March 2020, Evaly launched Evaly Express Shop service that
delivers groceries and medicines for consumers. Initially, it did not include
perishable items such as meat and fish; later, it was added to its service.
Evaly Food Express (eFood): Evaly released its on-demand food delivery
service, eFood, on 18 June 2020. The purpose of the service is to ensure that
consumers receive delivery from selected restaurants at their convenience.
ebazar: An online selling platform under the jurisdiction of Evaly where anyone
can sell their personal belongings and consumers can buy from them without any
commission. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha 2020, eBazar enabled sellers to sell
sacrificial animals on their platform to control the spread of Covid-19.
eKhata: An accounting and inventory solution developed by Evaly to help people
keep track of their business or personal transactions with the help of automation.

Observation:
The biggest drawback of e-commerce is the issue of security. People fear to provide
personal and financial information. Some websites illegally collect statistics on
consumers without their permission. Lack of privacy discourages people to use
internet for conducting commercial transactions. People fear to operate in a paperless
and faceless electronic world. Some of the business organizations do not have
physical existence. People do not know with whom they are conducting commercial
transactions. People have to rely on electronic images to purchase products.
Sometimes, when the products are delivered, the product may not match with
electronic images. The cyber laws that govern the e-commerce transactions are not
very clear and vary from country to country. These legal issues prevent people from
entering into electronic contracts. One of the biggest problems with buying things
online is that we have no guarantee of a product quality. Reviews are not same with
delivered product. When someone plans to order a product from online they never
assure that when they will get the product timely.
There are many e-commerce sites in Bangladesh, some of which do not satisfy the
customers completely. It is not possible for everyone to deliver products on order.
Through all of obstacles Evaly works properly in the market place among other e-
commerce sites like Daraz, Clickbd, Food panda, Chaldal, Bagboom, Rokomari,
Dhamaka, ajkerdeal etc. Evaly has committed to delivered the product within 7 to
45 days sometimes which is not possible due to availability of product and customer
disappointed about their orders.
Due to internet revolution over the past decade e-commerce business have became
a significate force to reckon.
