TITLE: BCPC Council Planning and Budgeting


RATIONALE:
The Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) is a council organized at the
barangay level to serve as the umbrella organization for all children's concert. It is a council
fully harnessed to be an efficient and effective advocate of child rights. It also involves itself
in capacity building and resource mobilization for its member-organization and in making
sure that the Children Development Plan is integrated with budget allocation in the Barangay
Development Plan
Barangay Tawang is one of the barangays of La Trinidad with a total population of 9. 406 and
accordingly, 50% of the population are composed of children. There were already reported
cases of Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) and Child at Risk (CAR) starting on
January 2019. Even though there is already an existing BCPC in the barangay, a seminar is
still needed to strengthen the BCPC and to further equip the BCPC members with knowledge.
Furthermore, for the members to assess the functionality of the BCPC
OBJECTIVE:
To gather information and be able to resolve matters for the development of the
Barangay concern.
To give implication on their rights, duties and function.
EXPECTED OUTPUT:
Be able to update concerns and problems of the BCPC as well as providing solutions
for the realization of the projects

25 persons (Barangay Officials, Staffs and BCPC members)

RATIONALE:

Barangay Tawang is one of the barangays of La Trinidad with a total population of 9. 406 and
accordingly, 50% of the population are composed of children. There were already reported
cases of Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) and Child at Risk (CAR) starting on
January 2019.
The Barangay having been actively participating in BCPC activities and events, prepares and
creates different printed and digitalized outputs to document said events and activities. Such
outputs are also filed as official documents for the government. Even though the barangay has
existing IT Equipment and budget for office supplies, the existing IT Equipment are outdated
and most of the time malfunctioning. Also, barangay office supplies are used in different
departments, offices and committees. Thus, it is necessary for the BCPC to have its own well-
functioning IT Equipment and Office Supplies necessary for BCPC Documentation and other
purposes such as Report/Plan/Budget/etc. outputs.
OBJECTIVE:
To purchase IT Equipment for and Office Supplies to be used for BCPC Documentation and
other purposes such as Report/Plan/Budget Outputs.
