Grade 10 - Sept. 13, 2017

The lesson taught students how to develop an argumentative claim by discussing the basic components and organization of an argument. Students were divided into groups to present arguments on whether global solidarity is possible, and the teacher evaluated their understanding by having them write short arguments on topics like tobacco regulation and legalizing prostitution. The log reflected on successes and challenges of the lesson to help improve future instruction.
