Katrina: Being inactive in physical activities can give us a lot of consequences. Let
us specify some of it:
1. Easily infected by heart disease risk factors
2. Can cause obesity
3. Can increase our blood pressure
4. Gives us a higher risk of cholesterol
5. Weakens our immune system
6. Body becomes weak and more likely become sick
7. Trouble with thinking and concentrating
8. Poor balance
9. Mental health problems
10. Weak body movements
Aira: In continuation with what Katrina said, there are so many consequences that
might happen. It can affect our physical, mental and emotional aspect in life. The
easiest and simplest way that we can do to avoid this is to schedule a short time
for any physical activities. As we continue to be inactive, we will feel worse and
eventually even simple day will be difficult.
Shirley: Now, me and Christine going to cite the different ways to address the
negative consequences of inactivity. First, we can use social media platforms such
as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. to raise awareness that physical inactivity
can harm our body health. We can spread information about the benefits of
exercising and performing physical activity, so that on the people will be
encouraged to start doing what really matters.
Christine: In continuation with what Shirley has explained to us, the second way
that we can do is to have campaign or seminar that talks about how important
our body condition is and how worse we will be if we become permanently
physical inactive. The campaign should focus on the consequences of physical
inactivity and the possible benefits we can get from it.
Aira: At this time, let’s talk about feasibility of performing festival dances as a
form of physical activity. Feasibility describes how easy or difficult it is to do
something. And yes! Festival dance is feasible to be a form of physical activity
because it involves different movements that is considered as an aerobic exercise
and gives other benefits commonly associated with physical fitness.
Derick: In addition in what Aira has told us, every form of dance may lead to
physical exercise of a person which helps us to stay fit and maintain the healthy
lifestyle. According to a research, dance steps helps to freshen up one’s mind and
reduce tension. This will also allow our body to find what exercise really fits for us
and how we can adapt on it for the first time we perform it.
Katrina: Moving on, the health benefits of participating in festival dances has a
wide range of physical and mental benefits including improved condition of our
heart and lungs, increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness,
increased aerobic fitness, improved muscle tone and strength.
Aira: At this time of pandemic, it is more important to boost our immune system
to be strong enough to fight against diseases. We hope that this webinar helps
you throughout in thinking that inactivity in fitness may lead into worse body
conditions. As we end this session, always remember that health is wealth and
create healthy habits! Thank you and Godbless
