Detailed Lesson Plan in English Remedial Instruction: Writing and Speaking.


I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, at least 95% of the students are expected to:
1. determine how to improve our communication using the productive skills,
2. share their own insights, examples and ideas about productive skills,
3. participate in group work activity.

-Good morning, ma’am!

-Before we start the lesson, everyone stand -Amen.

-Pick up pieces of papers and arrange your
chairs and then you may take your seats.

-How’s your week end?
-It was all about Communication.
-Before we start can someone tell me what
was our topic last meeting?
-Now, let’s move-on and have our new topic. -Okay, ma’am.
B. Motivation
- I have here a four envelopes with a
scrambled pictures inside it, and I want you to
arrange the scrambled pictures within one
minute. The first group who can arrange the
pictures will be declared as winner, but before
that let me divide you into four groups.
- Let’s start here, Count one up until four, -1

-Group one will stay here in front in left side


and two will also stay here front but in the right -Yes, ma’am.

-Writing is a medium of human
communication that involves the representation
-Very Good! So, What is writing? of language with symbols.

-Speaking is the delivery of language through

-Very good! How about speaking?

-Very good! In our lesson for today we will


know how to improve our communication and
communicate properly using the productive
skills. And we will know their importance and
their uses in our daily life.
