This manual was created in accordance with the European norm EN 82079-1 and is valid for WEB-Interface
OJPSR-9 for the OCTA Jackpot Controller until a newer version is released.

1 Introduction
The present document is a ‘Web-interface’ user manual for the ‘OCTA Jackpot Controller’ local prize
system.
The ‘OCTA Jackpot Controller’ local prize system is a functionally complete hardware-software system
which can unite up to 127 gaming machines installed in one gaming location and ensure online monitoring
of the equipment technical conditions.
The document provides System overview including basic principles of working with the ‘OCTA Jackpot
Controller’ and the description of the Web-interface main features.
The ‘OCTA Jackpot Controller’ system operates independently within the gaming location.
Depending on the respective access rights the System offers certain working WEB-interface sections and
functions. The table below shows the user roles and rights available in the System. User roles are assigned
by the WEB-site administrator.
NOTE
To change user password or to logout, follow the respective links in the right upper drop-down
menu (see example below).
Use standard WEB-browser for working with the WEB-interface. In the IP-address
row type http://1.5.1.1, to download the site.
NOTE
The workstation must be connected to the same network as the ‘OCTA Jackpot Controller’ and the
gaming machines.
The ‘OCTA Jackpot Controller’ home page consists of two sections. The right section displays general
System information; the left section displays the main menu.
Depending on the user access rights the main menu can contain various links and options:
NOTE
The section marked with (*) is available for the ‘Master’ role only.
The section marked with (**) is available for the ‘Partial’ role only.
The sections marked with (***) are available for the ‘Administrator’ role only.
INFORMATION
General System information is displayed on the Web-site home page.
NOTE
The amount of devices in the table cannot be greater than the amount of devices connected to the
system and displayed in the ‘License & information’ form. The equipment connected without licence
is not displayed. To view the equipment list follow: Main / Machines / List of Machines (for details
see chapter 4.3.1 on page 23).
4 Controller Configuration
NOTE
After any configuration parameter is changed, reload configuration following the ‘Reload
configuration’ link in the upper part of the home page.
Configuration reloading can take several seconds.
4.1 Settings
‘Configuration Settings’:
‘Minimum Participating Machines’
- set minimal quantity of the gaming machines to start Jackpot drawing;
‘Currency symbol’ - set a currency designation symbol to be displayed on the WEB page;
‘Date and Time’: - set Jackpot Controller date and time.
4.2 Jackpots
4.2.1 Configure Jackpot Parameters
NOTE
To get started with Jackpot Controller, configure parameters of the Jackpots which have the ‘Not
configured’ status.
INFORMATION
If after Jackpot controller is changed/reconfigured, it needs to continue Jackpot accumulation, the
user can set this value manually.
INFORMATION
The ‘Name’ and ‘Base Pct %’ fields are for information purposes only.
NOTE
The ‘Maximum Bet’ value must be greater or equal to the ‘Minimum Bet’ value, with exception when
‘Maximum Bet’ = 0. In this case ‘Minimum Bet’ can have any value.

After any parameter is changed the respective alert message will be displayed in the upper part of
the screen.
4) Reload configuration following the ‘Reload configuration’ link in the upper part of the screen.

To view Jackpot parameters in detail, follow the sequence: Home Page / Current Jackpots Values / Jackpot
/ [Name] link. The link leads to the ‘View Jackpot Parameters’ form.
NOTE
All Jackpots have the ‘Not configured’ status by default. To update Jackpot parameters, use the
‘Update (Initial) Jackpot Parameters’ form (for details see chapter 4.2.3 on page 16).
2) In the opened ‘Update Jackpot Parameters’ form change the desired values and click .
NOTE
The ‘Maximum Bet’ value must be greater or equal to the ‘Minimum Bet’ value, with exception when
‘Maximum Bet’ = 0. In this case ‘Minimum Bet’ can have any value.

The (*) mark shows the changed value.

3) Reload configuration following the ‘Reload configuration’ link in the upper part of the screen.
To view machine parameters in detail, follow this path: Home Page / List of Devices / Machine / [Name]
link;
The lower part of the form displays event messages registered by the System in the last twenty-four hours.
To view sign parameters in detail, follow this path: Home Page / List of Devices / Machine / [Name] link.

3) Reset machine UCB following the button (for details see chapter 5.2 on page 33).
INFORMATION
After any parameter is changed the respective alert message will be displayed in the upper part of
the screen.
INFORMATION
Some models of the gaming machines can be auto-determinated in the System after UCB is
connected.
In this case the respective informational message will be displayed in the upper part the screen (see
illustration below). Information about the auto-determinated equipment will be displayed in the
‘Other connected devices’ form with the ‘Ready for import’ status.
INFORMATION
If, for some reason, the System cannot determine the connected machine, the equipment will
acquire the ‘Unknown’ status. In such a case the ‘Import machine’ link is not available.
NOTE
After the gaming machine is connected wait for a minute until it is auto-determinated in the system.
3) If the status remains ‘Unknown’ check if the UCB – Machine connection is set correctly and repeat
steps 1-2.
INFORMATION
To open the list of machines auto-determinated in the System, follow the ‘Import Machines’ link (the
link is available for the ‘Administrator’ only). The link opens the ‘Import Machine List’ (for details see
chapter 4.3.3.1 on page 29).

After the machine is imported, the following alert message will be displayed in the upper part of the
screen (see example below).

4) Update the home page. The new machine will be displayed in the ‘Current Devices’ form with the
acquired ID number.

To view and edit machine parameters use the ‘Update Machine Parameters’ form (for details see
chapter 4.3.2 on page 26).
NOTE
If the gaming machine has not been auto-determinated in the System, it can be added manually.
2) After the ‘Add Machine’ form is displayed, set the desired machine parameters and click .

After the machine is added, the following alert message will be displayed in the upper part of the
screen (see example below).

After a machine is deleted, the following alert message will be displayed in the upper part of the
screen (see example below).
NOTE
To reconnect the deleted machine, use the ‘Import machine’ (for details see chapter 4.3.3
on page 27) or ‘Add new machine’ (for details see chapter 4.3.4 on page 31) options.
In the ‘Current Devices’ the gaming machine using UCB connected to the ‘OCTA Jackpot Controller’ is
marked with

The button is available for the Administrator only.
5.3 Reports
5.3.1 ‘Paid Jackpots for Period’ Report
To generate the report, set the report period in the ‘Date from’ and ‘Date To’ fields.

6.1 Factory Reset
NOTE
The ’Reset all jackpots’ link is available under the MASTER_RESET role only.
The ‘Factory Reset’ link enables the user to reset all Jackpots to the ‘Not configured’ status and clear

The ‘Reset all jackpots’ link is available under the PARTIAL_RESET role only.
The ‘Reset all jackpots’ link enables the user to reset all Jackpot parameters to the ‘Not configured’ status.
Jackpot history is saved in the System.
NOTE
All Jackpots will acquire the ‘Not Configured’ status. To continue working with the System, they
should be reconfigured and activated.
