Your personal video recorder

You can easily connect an external drive to the HD Mediabox to record TV
broadcasting. Your HD Mediabox will become a video recorder that will help you
keep your favourite films and shows.

We recommend the use of a hard drive with following parameters:

Capacity between 160 and 500 GB. We do not recommend a hard drive with a higher
capacity. Proper function could not be ensured because of insufficient power supply.

USB 2.0 or newer

Minimum cache 4 MB, we recommend 8 MB

Write and read speed at least 30 Mbps

We do not recommend USB flash discs

Connect the hard drive into the USB on the rear side of the HD Mediabox. You need
to format the hard drive before the first use. To format the hard drive, press MENU,
then SETTINGS, ADDITIONAL SETTINGS, HORIZON MEDIABOX and FORMAT DISC.

Warning: When formatting a hard drive, all saved files will be permanently deleted.
