5. Find the range of values of x for which 2x2  3 − 5x. [3 marks]

6. The quadratic function 𝑓(𝑥) = (2 − 𝑝)𝑥 2 + 4𝑥 − 8 , where p is a constant, does not intersect the
x-axis. Find the range of the values of p. [3 marks]

7. Given that 𝑓(𝑥) = 𝑥 2 − 3𝑥 + 2,

a) Find the coordinate of the minimum point.
