Cabolis, Activity 3
Cabolis, Activity 3
Regular exercise and physical activity promote strong muscles and bones. It improves
body composition, cardiorespiratory health, flexibility, muscular endurance, and the entire body.
Staying active can also help us maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk for long-term,
lifestyle-related, diseases caused by poor physical health such as diabetes, hypertension, and
even cancer.
After undergoing Health-Related Fitness Activities, the results seemed that I really need
improvement, especially at my age, for better physique and health. The computed BMI showed
an acceptable body composition and a low risk of having diseases. Yet the average of the other
health-related fitness tests showed the marginality of my entire physical body. In terms of the
cardiorespiratory fitness, I only have an average capacity of supplying oxygen to the other parts
of my body, it means that I also have a low cardiorespiratory endurance. In terms of flexibility,
most of the results are only in the marginal zone which means that I need enhancement. For
muscular strength endurance, I must admit that I do not have enough muscular endurance, so I
also need improvement. Overall, I feel disappointed but still glad that I was able to know my
health conditions.
Our health is at the center of our lives. Every part of our life relies on us having good
health. Let us not wait to be ill before investing ourselves to have a better health and lifestyle.
Fitness is a lifestyle; it is not a quick fix. It is something we must incorporate in our daily
regimen; thus, taking a shower and brushing our teeth. We have to start now.
