And I saw many kinds of insects especially in their larval stage stages and never cross my mind to be afraid of them since they look cute and graceful especially those smooth worms with different coclors and some caterpillars. They’re good at staring your face and those looks in their wide eyes. But I don’t like the hairy ones because my mother said not to touch them bacause they are itchy. So when I became an adult, this inspires me to study about Harmful and beneficial insects. 1. Class, why we call them harmful insects? Ma’am, we call them harmful insects because they can destroy the crops, or even spread disease to the plants. 2. How do you identify beneficial insects? Beneficial insects eat large quantities of aphids, mites and other arthropods that feed on various plants. B.
