What is FAR or FSI?
Floor area ratio (FAR) or floor space index (FSI) denote the maximum floor space that can be
constructed on a piece of land. It is a ratio between a building's total constructed floor area
and the land area.

1) Description
This zone comprises of areas in between MG Road, Brigade Road, Residency Road, Madras
Bank Road and St Marks Road and also areas between the traffic island of Mayo hall,
Magrath Road and Resideney Road, Manipal Centre between MG Road and Ulsoor Road.
‘Some pockets in the II Ring have been demarceted as Commercial (Business) zone, with the
objective of supporting formation of secondary centres.
