Net Trellis: Technical Guide

The document provides instructions for using net trellises to support crop growth. Some key benefits of net trellises include better crop performance, easier spraying, fertilizing and pruning, and reduced disease risk from improved air circulation. The document outlines how to install net trellises for different crops like tomatoes, cucumbers, and beans. Poles are driven into the ground and netting is strung between them and secured. Trellises provide structure for vine crops to climb and can be reused over multiple growing seasons after cleaning. Alternative trellising methods using string, wire or bamboo are also described.

After harvest, uproot or cut base of plants. Remove net and plants together.
Once plant debris is dry, clean net. Trellis nets can be reused for several crop cycles.

If net is not available use other materials: strings, wire, bamboos.

For gourds, the system is the same, using more materials to cover the frame like a net
