Apakah statistik? Statistik adalah satu cabang matematik yang melibatkan pengumpulan, penyusunan, paparan, penganalisian, pentafsiran dan pembentangan/kesimpulan terhadap sesuatu data. Beberapa konsep asas statistik adalah pembolehubah, data, sampel dan populasi. Pembolehubah adalah ciri-ciri sesuatu data yang boleh diukur. Populasi merupakan meliputi kesemua data yang ingin dikaji manakala sampel merupakan sebahagian daripada populasi.
