NARRATIVE REPORT
PupilS’ VIRTUAL ORIENTATION
Grade 5- SABANDAL
Date: October 7, 2020, Wednesday
Time: 10:00 in the morning
Venue: google meet
Participants: T.Bianca N. Sabandal, Grade 5 pupils of Gr.5-Sabandal class
Attendees: There were only 10 participants who attended in the virtual meeting. Only a few
joined primarily becasuse of internet connectivity problem.

I. Call to Order:
⮚ Pupils and teacher started to join in the googlemeet at 9:45 in the morning with the
meeting code: google.com/vhy-oqrf-ocv
⮚ Preliminary activities were presented and explained by Ms. Bianca N. Sabandal,
grade 5 leader.
II. Program Proper:
⮚ The orientation started at about 10:00 in the morning.
⮚ It started with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and thereafter, a
video presentation of a prayer.
⮚ The class adviser, Mrs. Bianca N. Sabandal, introduced herself to the pupils then,
proceeded to the explanation on the different modalities of learning.
* Grades 5-6 are given two options: the printed modular learning and the offline
distance learning.

 Modular Printed- The children will be provided with hardcopy of modules to study. These
are to be taken by the parents from their child’s respective adviser on the scheduled date.
 Modular Digital- The grade level prepared an FB page for parents and children who prefer to
use offline distance learning for their class. This is where all softcopies of modules be
posted. Parents have to become members of this page in order to access, view and download
the said modules. They don’t need to go to school anymore to acquire the modules. Advisers
also created GC for their own advisory,so parents as well as the children will be kept
updated with announcements and other important matters.

⮚ Mrs. Bianca Sabandal further discussed about the parts of a module:


* Pre-Test (What I Know)
* What I Need to KNow (Objectives)
* What’s In (Review/ Springboard)
* What’s New (Presentation of the Lesson)
* What Is It (Discussion)
* What’s More (Application)
* What I need to Remember (Generalization)
* What I Can Do (Enrichment Activities)
* Assessment (Post Test)

● The teacher presented then, a sample of an answer sheet so, pupils shall
be guided in answering all activities in the modules.

⮚ Pupils were given time to make querries and clarifications on things they don’t
understand. All questions were carefully and clearly answered by the teacher. It
has been surely made that all questions raised were answered before the activity
ended.

III. The orientation ended at 10:55 in the morning.
