ACR-Psychosocial Support Intervention

Sto. Nino Elementary School conducted a webinar to provide psychosocial support for teachers, parents, and learners. The objectives were to strengthen the role of parents and teachers in education during COVID-19 and prepare them for their duties. The webinar was held on September 22, 2020 with the school head, guidance coordinator, teachers, parents, and learners participating. It was funded through the MOOE fund and aimed to help frontliners with their wellness so they could continue students' education. The challenging task of educating students during the pandemic was addressed.

Lessons Learned/ The task to educate students has become more challenging because beacuse of the
Recommendation onset of the covid-9 PADEMIC. The schools are temporarily closed and the Department
of Education (DepEd) saw that parents could be vital in fulfilling the learning continuity.
In order to further strengthen the role of parents and teachers as the education frontline
amid COVID-19 pandemic, Sto. Nino Elementary School conducted a Psychosocial
Support and Training for school heads, teachers, and parents before the opening of the
School Year 2020-2021 to prepare them and teach them to look after their wellness to help
them fulfill their respective duties and responsibilities in the education continuity.
