ACCOUNT LAUNCH
Client's Profile

New-to-Amazon brand within the Health & Wellness category. We partnered


with our client in February 2019 (their first month on Amazon)

Client's Challenge

New products, stiff competition: As a new brand, they were starting from ground
zero within one of the most competitive categories on Amazon - health supplements

Client's Goal

Use PPC to support account launch in a very competitive space, while keeping
Advertising Cost of Sales (ACOS) below 50% 

ACOS is Amazon's profitability metric. Expressed as a percentage, it is calculated


by dividing ad spend by ad sales (lower = more profitable). ACOS is the inverse of
the more familiar ROAS, where a 50% ACOS is equivalent to a 2.0 ROAS.

Our Results

By month 5 we grew ad sales from $0 to nearly $75K in one of the most


competitive markets.

We hit our client’s monthly ACOS goal of under 50%; and now that the brand is
more established, we are trending towards our “second phase” target of 35% ACOS

IMPROVE PROFITABILITY
Client's Profile

Medium-sized brand within the Beauty & Personal Care category - has been
selling on Amazon for 5+ years. We partnered with this client in December 2018

Client's Challenge

Unprofitable PPC: Prior to joining us, our client was generating ~$60,000/month in
ad sales at a 55% ACOS between February to July 2018. This was unsustainable with
their profit goals and they were forced to turn nearly all their campaigns off in August
after consistent poor returns.

Client's Goal

Improve profitability by lowering ACOS to under 30% without sacrificing sales


volume

Our Results

Monthly ACOS immediately dropped below 30% (and has been maintained) after
implementing our own campaign structures.

Within 5 months, ad sales increased from the previous high of $60,000 to over
$90,000 per month. That’s a sales growth of over 50%

Established and popular brand within the Sports & Outdoors category. We partnered with
this client in February 2019

Client's Challenge

Hit the wall: Overall sales had plateaued for the previous 6-8 months and felt their previous
agency was overlooking opportunities

Client's Goal

Reignite sales growth of a mature account without sacrificing profitability

Our Results

Shown below is Sponsored Brand campaign performance (AKA headline ads). We saw a relatively
untapped opportunity to drive additional sales/traffic through expanding Sponsored Brand coverage

In 1 month, Sponsored Brand sales increased from $60K to $240K (300% increase)

Over 5 months, we improved the Sponsored Brand monthly ACOS from 30% (Feb.) to
under 15% (July) - doubling profitability

New-To-Brand (NTB) customer sales are now trending at over $100K/month
